Finally finished the story. I liked it. I really like the way Delaney wrapped the main event up without drawing it out. He got to the point without sacrificing detail.

I forgot how much I enjoyed Percy and his friends` adventures. Well written and interesting.

Percy is very confused and worried. Can't rememer the important stuff. I like the characters surrounding him.

I liked the story.

Mmmm, the jury is still out. I think I will want to finish the series. I am having problems buying the premises of the story. Important situations are much to simplistic. However, the target audience is for the young, so that's ok.

The two kid monster hunters are mostly on their own.

I like this story. It's definately in the kids category and I found the story to be an easy uncomplicated read. Actually I consider that combination difficult to achieve.

They so overlooked the bullying factor. The dead and alive popular kids showed no remorse. Brad is plain mean.

Nice, easy read. Bit of a cozy.

I bought this book because Diana Wynn Jones recommended it. The Magic Thief is a fast, good read. A perfect book to read after being worn down by one of the more intense books. The universe is nice and evolving. Poor Comm needs so much more than his Master can give, but Conn also has his standards which he will not ignore. I want to know more about Benet. Will read the all the books.

Goat mages?

I liked this book. Kate did go off on her own and fought the mythical monsters. She found many of the ancient people and they were nice. After reading about Kate and Hugh's fighting, I truly think Kate can beat Hugh. The packs' verbal attack on Kate was merely boring. What did Kate expect? Even as she raged against Curan behavior, Kate never stopped loving Curan. I wasn't worried.

I was very afraid that Kate was going to turn into a tow the line gal after hooking up with Curan. More meek, mild, and unrecognizable. My favorite UF character was at risk. Kate's still alive! My favored books of the series are the 1st 3 or 4. I loved the mythical characters Kate battled, Kate's dysfunctional personality, her loner life style, etc. She has lost a lot of the old Kate,but it's not so bad.

Off to Ireland. I believe that something hugely significant will be accomplished.

Good story. I didn't like the pages and pages of political speak. I don't mind a little of that, but the redundancy of the subject and the subject matter went on forever. Nothing about appeasing the old god was good. It was vicious and involved the weakest member of their society. Lost a lot of respect for many of the characters.

A good, complicated listen.

Sad, hopeless in excess. The ending was unsatisfactory.

For a children's book, the story is extremely dark. Actually, the violence gets more extreme as the series progresses.Don't get too attached to any of the characters . The sad part is that I can't get invested in the people 'cause they are going to die. I do like the series and will continue to read the books. I'm really worried about Tom's family.

I worry about the family down on the farm. What will the enemy do to them?

Off to Greece to eliminate a nasty threat to the world. I wasn't surprised by one death, really irritated by another. Jack's rejection of Tom was expected. Jack, at one time had his life mapped out. He thought his life was under his control. Nope and he had to blame someone. I have a family member like Jack.

Alice had a really rough time in this story. Just goes to show that all the experts in light and dark (evil or good)may be ignorant in what will work or not. They need a lot of people who think outside the box. I like Grimalkin, except for the scissors. I hope that is mostly bluff.

I did like most of the characters. I wish that the FBI was not portrayed as incompetent or the semi bad guy. And the MHI deserved to be shut down after the incident. They screwed up big time. I'd like to see a bit of humbleness in this area. The business should be operated with strict rules and professional, serious attitude. The more dangerous the target = need for strict organization.

I really didn't need to listen to the descriptions that went on for pages. Though, I do understand there are those who love it. This story does pay extreme attention to detail in most aspects of the story which doesn't really transfers to filler. However, I did get bored with some of it.

I wish the Spook would leave Alice alone. His attitude is stemmed from his own failures. John needs to listen people with better social sense.

Nice gory story, after all, this story does involve monsters.

This isn't a bad story, I just can't get into it.

I skimmed a lot of this story. I just could not get interested in this middle book. I hope to read the last book. I think this is a trilogy.
