I'm in the Sanderson hole again

The world building is so good. The real danger the orogenes represent, their horrifying place in the world because of the fear of the people, the idea of a hateful planet that wants revenge, it's all so rich and well put together and such a product of the modern era.

Shifting between 2nd and 3rd person is fairly unique as perspectives go. So that's neat and the world building so far is really excellent

Much like a good cheese, this book won't last long now that it's in front of me

This is fascinating and horrifying all at the same time
