I wanted to like this more than I am able to. I’m an avid animal lover and also a vegan so perhaps that is impacting my view. I’m struggling with the ethics of it all. There are also some not so subtle hints at misogyny that I can’t overlook. I will continue on because I’m about halfway through but I have a bad taste in my mouth.

I’ve highlighted basically the whole book. What choice did I have? How could I not when she writes so STUNNINGLY?? What bits do I really need to save and look back on? ALL OF THEM!

I’m loving this. It’s slow going because I’m tabbing as I go and the lingering is making it all the more special.

I can already tell this one is special 🩷

So far, the title is the best quality this book has to offer. Ima stick with it because I bought the darn book but other than a few nuggets of regurgitated wisdom that I’ve heard many times before, this is very mehhh. The author is pretty unlikeable, in my humble opinion. Not what I expected at all.

Moving forward, I’ll try to put my opinions of the author aside and focus on the self-help components…
