Darkwar
I didn't enjoy it as much as his earlier work but still much better than most of the newer fiction of the genre.

Children of the Mind (Ender's Saga, #4)
Not as good as the initial stories but still an enjoyable read.

is finished with
The Broken Mage (Frostborn, #8)
I read this a while ago and don't remember it. I liked the series but it didn't make an impression like Asimov, Niven, Mcaffery, et al, whose books have lived inside me for decades.

is finished with
Alliance of Outlaws (The Augment War Book 1)
It's a bit full of deus ex machina convenience meaning it feels contrived in many places. Still, it afforded a nice escape.
