i loveeeeeed the first story. the second took a few chapters for me to get into it, but once I did... I could envision Toby and McBride together. So goddamn lovely.

I love Josh Lanyon. He's just too damn talented. Every single book just touches my soul. He's gotten me through some very, very rough times. Thanks for that. Best line so far: "IT'S ONE THING TO GIVE YOUR SELF PERMISSION TO GRIEVE,

I like it, but I'm also not floored by it... One thing I know for sure is... prison is awful!

I don't even know what to say. I'm only on chapter 4 and I'm in tears. I just want to give Aaron a hug. *sigh* I think I'm going to have a hard time finishing this....

So, Have I mentioned I love Silus! I really do. I love it when someone is genuine, and when they fuck up, they admit it. I loved his v-day pressie to Trip. ( I love that name... what a TRIP! clever). Its not as good as HOT HEAD, let me be up front about that... HOWEVER, I get them. I understand how self-imposed recriminations and past experiences can make us see ourselves one way, when others see us in a differently.

I don't know how I feel about this book yet. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Damon Suede. He was the first m/m author I ever read, and HE got me hooked. ( I LOVE YOU DAMON SUEDE!) But..... I'm having a harder time getting into this novel than I thought I would... sometimes the comic speak is just too long-winded. Other times, I feel as though the dialogue could have been edited better... but I like Trip, and lust over Silas...

I am so heartbroken as I read this book. Tommy is such an amazing character. He's so much more than a 'good guy'. I am floored to see him sacrifice himself just to keep Chase 'together'. This is such an emotional book. I feel like my soul is weeping. The self loathing, the hurt... "You have something wrecked in you Chase, if you ever want to fix it... let me know."

I have to say that there has been too much hoopla about this book. It starts off promising. The prose is quite lovely, but then it drags. It could have concluded by chapter 20. There is no reason to have 343 pages. Were is Stedman's editor?

I'm a fan of people overcoming their fears and this book exemplifies that type of experience.

I <3 Josh Lanyon. He is simply brilliant. I cannot get enough.
