Such a powerful read. Reading this story in verse made it even more powerful. At the end reading how it was inspired by Yusef Salaam and the Central Park 5 made it even more real. If you don’t think systemic racism is a problem, you clearly aren’t reading enough.

Similar to the 100 Year Old Man Who Jumped out of a Window... This book is hilarious and unexpected. If you liked the quirky humor of the other, picture a similar book but with nuclear weapons, President Hu Jintao and a South African sanitation worker.
