I started reading this book 2 weeks ago but it started off on such a boring and waffly basis, I DNFed it, but I want to give it a chance & finish it, so let’s see how it goes?

I absolutely hate slow burns! I’m 30% in and nothing has happened… AND I’ve skipped over a few pages. Eye roll

This book is unnecessarily too long - the whole middle section is so redundant and filler. This had promise to be an impactful story, but the waffling is boring me now that I just want to be done with it

Half way through the book and nothing monumental has happened yet, it’s still so wishy washy.
Ugh, I’m kinda bored (but I don’t want to judge too quickly) and I don’t want a rushed ending!

This is so boring, uninteresting and I do not want to continue reading until the end, nor am I even curious to find out how it ends.
It’s also poorly written, and a bad “representation” of Muslims and South Asians actually. Ugh, but since I’ve started, might as well suffer through the boredom.
