I usually give a book 100 pages to capture my attention and then give up. This one hasn't done it yet, but I will keep going based on the excellent reviews it received. So far it's just about a few death-row guards and a mouse. Yawn.

Wow, there is so much here. What a rich experience of the mind of a great American.

So far, booooring. I’m listening to this one, and the slow pace makes me crazy. I pushed it up to 1.5x, which hasn’t helped much. I expect upcoming DNA results will make it more interesting. If not, I might have to give up or switch to reading, which goes much faster.

This book is long and excellent. Much more than a catalog of Israel’s extra judicial assassinations, it digs into the geopolitical context, the personalities involved, and the complex, messy structure of Israel’s various intelligence and military agencies.

Not my cup of tea. But King is a good writer.

Almost to page 500. I could have completed Infinite Jest by now.

Fascinating, compelling, addictive. And the writing is excellent, as with Krakauer's other work. This is one hell of a great story.

Way better than Bosch so far.
