i am not very interested in the characters and their "connections"

I am glad i am listening to the audio, wouldn't have made it otherwise. still not loving it

Yeah, this one right after the first book is getting old quick!

BTW I switched to audiobook and the voice of the robot is horrible. like an adult pretending to be a kid in a very bad way

The monk, the mother of the dead veteran and now the artist - I really don't care. Maybe I am in the wrong mood for this book? or maybe I don't like the writing? Not quite sure yet but I am definitely having a hard time

the introduction by her mother is a little too glowing, now it is at the diary...

What I do for bookclub! I gave it two stars in 2023 but it has been selected for another BC read so here i go again... sometimes books grow on me, I'll see if a second read changes my original opinion?

Let the great world spin but with a little less inner monologue and it would be a little more interesting

It is a bit much - a little too much detail about brothers that I am not really empathizing with ... I'm hoping it improves 🤞
