Predictable. I say everything coming from a mile away. I can't put this book down. I want see how Jade gets her revenge.

Saunder's writing style can often be clunky or verbose at times, and loses the impact the scene could've had. Overall, not a bad book. Not much of a challenge for Imaro. A true test of strength of watching one overcome it.

I am slowly moving into the "meat" of this book and yet I don't understand what the author is trying to do with his story.
Yeah, I just don't understand the plot, the characters, or the their motivations.

First book by Brent Weeks, I'm having a weird read. 1) some paragraphs sound incomplete, there is no transition. I like the writing style but, I'm finding it to be a hard read.

I like, Lightsong and Vasher. I'm wavering about Siri, not liking Vivenna.

Not bad. In my opinion, this story so far feels like Brandon just wrote the story for the hell it.

I like the story, and setting, just not the characters. This is my third book I'm reading made by Brandon Sanderson, I'm struggling to read the characters are a bore, they're dull compared to Shai from The Emperor's Soul and David from Steelheart.

Rachel gave the wording personality but, I'm not pulled into the story. The cliché is their; I definitely dislike Marc, I know his character(too much actually) then, Fathye is annoying with her independence, your father is brining you home because of a killer is coming for you, the bitch.

I'm loving the book so far but, I'm hoping the book is going to be great. Elder and Amy relationship is progressing good for now but, one thing worries me, I hope the book goes good.

Boswell tries to be way too deep in Tumbledown. There is this one scene where Chandler is describing how he thought he put the eggs in the brownies, I was totally puzzled to why Boswell thought a whole paragraph dedicated to describing an egg was profound. I'll stick through the book because I like his writing style.

I just got this book as a escape from the YA novels, I wanted to see how a fair against a novel set in the real world written for a older audience. Well… I haven't read anything that caught my interest. To me Boswell is trying to hard in analyzing his own story(maybe it's me) Oh well, I keep reading.
