I'm going to admit to skipping the first two stories after getting about half way through them. I can't stand female characters that allow border line abuse in their relationships, and these characters in the first two stories do. The female characters are responsible for everything household related, as well as taking care of the kids and working a full time job while their husbands do nothing but complain.

I've tried several times to get back into this book and I just can't. The it's more of a romance chick lit book that happens to have a ghost in it than a ghost story with romance in it. Perhaps I can read it another time, but for right now, I'm going to have to shelve it and move on to something else.

This is more of a summer beach read than a ghost story. It needs to get ghost-y really soon or I'll be moving on. So far, it's ok, just not a ghost story.

I just can't take it anymore. This book is one I am having to slog through, and nothing much about a woman who kills bad men. Instead, she's chasing a man who is still crazy in love with his ex-wife, trying to get him to fall in love with her. All this while her sister is being misused by a piece of crap boyfriend, who, btw, REALLY needs killing... I give up, life is too short to read a bad book.

It's a spoof of a cozy country house mystery. I just can't finish it. I'm not one for slapstick or spoofs or anything like that so I can't finish it. I just can't. I don't see what all the great reviews are about, it's pretty bad. It's not very often that I don't finish a book, but this one is going to be one of them. I'm done.

I keep plugging along just so I can find out who-dunnit and then get rid of the book. The plot is slow but big on her kids and problems with her husband, neither of which I have, so I can't relate and therefore find it boring. I just want it finished!!

Very interesting. I won't say that I can't put it down, but I sure can't wait to get back to it when I do. So far, a quick and easy read. Highly enjoyable.

I love how Ms. Wentworth's books grab me on page one and I just can't put them down after that. So far, another wonderful book!

I just can't read this book! The first hint that there would be problems was the first page being on the left. There were run-on sentences, punctuation where it wasn't needed and none where it was. Words were either capitalized or in all caps when unnecessary. And the entire book was double spaced. All this is very unfortunate because I really would like to read about The Bentley Grange Ghost.

I'm having trouble getting through this book. The main character is back to being a total moron with no job skills at all and completely relying on Ranger and his team. I may not finish it. I'll have to see. Very disappointed.

As always, Bryan grabs you on the first page and doesn't let you go. I can't wait to get back to it.

Kinda slow going, but it's interesting. Not at all fast paced!

It isn't often that I can't finish a book, but this is going to be one of those times. I have to just make myself pick up this book and try to read another chapter, it's so boring and plodding. There is no action, no mysterious doings, nothing. Life is too short to try to read a boring book and there are too many good books out there to read instead. I don't recommend this book.

I just can't finish this book, it painful! Not only that, it's predictable, sexist, boilerplate, and boring. The story is also based on a book from a different series, which I didn't read, and this character is a "break-out" type of thing, starting this series. Since I didn't read the other book first, this story really doesn't make much sense in some places. I don't recommend this book at all!!

This creepy, can't-put-down book cannot be read before you go to bed...it has to be read during the day, unless you have every light in the house on! This is so you can look over your shoulder to make sure nothing is there.

I'm going to have to set this book aside. I just can't get into it! The story is rambling, the main character is just weird and doesn't make any sense when he talks and I can't relate to anything in the story so far. I know it will count as my having read it, and if I ever go back to it I will just have to not count it. So far, I really can't recommend this book.

So far, I really love this book. It's creepy, spooky and a great mystery. I just hope it doesn't get stupid like some psychological thrillers do.
