I'm attempting once again to get through this book.

So far this feels like The Rom-Commers in a different font.

I haven't read a book this fast paced in a while. It's like there is a small catapult at every chapter propelling the plot to keep you reading like books that are released chapter by chapter.

Ok so yes the book has gotten so much better to me but this affair in here is still diabolical to me. I can’t get over the actions of both love interests…

Ok so I’m happy to say that I’m enjoying the book a little bit more now, mostly because of the historical aspects. The drama is engaging but definitely messy.

I’m honestly on the brink of giving up on this one. It’s not that the writing is bad but I just do not care for reading about an affair and listening to a man justify cheating. Not sure if it’s worth finishing.

This romance is soooo concerning.

This is a very interesting read. Unfortunately this image of the future is so far from our current reality.

While I don't like the whole trope of a mc lying in order to fit in or be liked, the story is entertaining

Why am I so shocked by how spicy this is 😂

These words literally send chills through my body. This book absolutely needs to be read by EVERYONE. It’s so truthful and often painfully so.

“You are fucking gorgeous for a big girl.”

Yikes! Excuse me a minute while I put this book down to throw up.

Coates’ mind is astonishing to me and the mental journey this book is taking me on right now is so unique and profound that I cannot even adequately describe the feelings and essence behind my experience consuming this book at the moment

I love this book so far it really makes you think about the nature of life in contrast to death and how you personally as well as others are navigating these things.

I’m listening to the audiobook of this one and I feel like hearing Elizabeth Acevedo’s voice narrate the book just makes it that much better

Wow there are so many meaningful and beautiful lines. I could literally highlight the whole book!

This book has me shook! I can’t put it down lol

I’m really enjoying the writing style of this book and the plot is very intriguing. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The plot has definitely grown to become a lot more engaging then it was at first

Interesting so far! I’m eager to see how the main character’s relationships will develop further and how the plot overall will unfold.
