Easy read so far. Few characters I'm unfamiliar with as this is my first entry into the series and I believe this may be book 8 in the series so I'm missing the personal history and gripes of some of the characters but the story so far is fine. Unlike Patricia Cornwell who also writes medical examiner novels the point of view for this isnt 1st person.

An easy read. Could easily get it done in a day or two if I had the time to just sit and read. Looking forward to reading rhe conclusion.

Such an easy read. Second book I’ve read where it just wasn’t a hassle and if there was time in the day could read 100+ no problem without needing a break.
The battle scenes are extremely good, the imagery created from the prose is just fantastic.

Really enjoying the start.

No murder yet, first person pov, reminiscing about a past story.

Although unknown when I started it’s set itself up for a sequel as the overarching storyline could easily be continued and is t finished.

Much more action, was a slow burn but now enjoying the story. Although surprisingly the aliens now are killing people whereas before it was just abduction.
