How long can you drag it out?..... Grrr

Wow, sex, sex, and then crazy sex. I didn't expect the amount of detail provided. I had read some reviews about the explicit sex scenes but those warnings didn't register. Other than the crazy amount of sex, the story's flow is odd. I understand the time jump but sometimes while reading, I'm on one scene and the next page will be like wtf? How did I end up here? I've been back and forth with quitting the book...hmmm

I thought I'd read this when I was younger but it turns out I only saw the movie and actually read Charlie and the glass elevator. So back to basics and to compare book vs movies...original vs new versions :)

Luckily won an advance read copy. I'm enjoying it so far. Although the beginning was a bit confusing but I think I've settled into the story. :)

Thought I'd give this book a second go after leaving it in limbo for almost a year at 2%. So far it feels bla..bla...but... I think I'm getting to the good stuff. ;)

So far it's getting to be a lot better than I thought. I really like the steampunk aspect since my recent stumble upon mini web series Riese: Kingdom Falling. I'm gonna be sad when I finish this book knowing I'll have to wait a bit for book 2.

I feel a little disappointed with the ending. Hmm.

I like what I'm reading so far. My only gripe is that I wish I read faster, 1/3 of the way through and I have no idea what the secret is. I'm sure it's the authors way of keeping you interested but dang I want to know now!! lol I'll be sneaking in a few chapters at work. ;)

The ending left me wanting more. I More details, insights on the future, it just seemed like, bam, bam, and boom, this is what happens, the end. hmmm...maybe it leaves room for a possible book 4.

Very quick read. Gave up a large chunk of sleep to get through it. Started the second one right away. :)

I'm enjoying this read so far. The writing flows smoothly and the detail is amazing. Sometimes authors go into too much detail and I'm think, grrr get on with it, but Steinbeck has really kept my attention.

Super excited to finally be at the end. Sooo many questions, I need to know "who done it?" lol. Can't believe I made it this far.

so far, not bad. it's an easy read.

I like the flow of this one a lot better than the first.
