Wow, this is some good stuff. I like to circle the poems I like in the table of contents and so far they’ve all been circled haha.

Gonna be thinking about this for awhile: “The bourgeoisie came to power because it was the class of the developing economy. The proletariat cannot embody its own new form of power except by becoming the class of consciousness.”

This is one ya’ really gotta’ take in bite-sized reading sessions, I’ve found. It is very dense.

I think this book should be about four more volumes in size. It’s very good but I feel like it’s moving at breakneck speed.

Really enjoying these poems. They’re brief and sometimes terse, but the efficiency of words still illicit a lot. Trying not to go too fast and take them in.
