Finished the first half of the book, an overview of Erickson's life and music. Interesting Bay Area history as well as some interesting writing on music trends, especially in the sixties.

Much of the book is a fictional outsider listening to fictional employees complain about their fictional company.

For some reason, the text is interrupted with impecise quotes in bold font of what was written several paragraphs. This might be helpful but it is distracting on the small screen of a phone.

Unfortunately, another interview of Cage interspersed with the author's interesting synthesis of Cage's creative. Here's a case where a primary source is too distracting.
