Geeze, get on with it already. I don't need to hear about every single meal they eat and every glass of wine they drink. It adds nothing to the story for me.

I just... I can't. It feels like this book kept trying to be good (I wanted it to be good), but it always dropped the ball. The premise is so interesting! But the execution of the story itself let everything down. Unfortunately, DNF.

Pre-reading this for work to see if it'd be a good addition to the school library, and it's actually really good so far! A little hint of Bedknobs and Broomsticks with a dash of Mary Poppins (no actual magic though).

Finally lucked out and the library had all Lunar Chronicles books readily available! It's been so long since I first started this series that I definitely forgot everything that happened. Started again from the beginning this week!
