definitely feeling like this book is underrated!

Finished part one, really enjoyed it even with some of its less appealing language/moments (which were common in 1998). Super fun and entertaining!

This is the fist light novel I’ve ever read and so far so good! Super fast paced and fun!

my library got another copy, allowing me to read on which I am glad for because this is so good

currently on chapter six and am loving this book so much, unfortunately I have to return my copy to the library so it'll be awhile before I can finish this

really enjoying this so far, it’s exactly what I was craving

very much enjoying how Schiff writes about Cicero…has me lol-ing

children’s literature is a treasure

This book is really good so far but I've been going through it slowly because I'm in the biggest reading slump of my life. I've accepted it.

I did not finish anything this month but I have library holds coming in that I need to get to... so here is to hoping June is a better reading month.

A few months ago I read 70-ish pages of this book but I put it down and forgot to pick it back up.

Now, I'm restarting it and I hope that this pulls me out of my reading slump. I trust in this book to help me!!

"The sky reached into the past and into obscurity, streaked with strips of cloud like marks left by a tired finger. The light leaking between the clouds was touched with purples, gentle reds and heavy blues. If you looked up far enough, you could see the wind blowing. It almost felt as if we could touch this layer wrapped around the world, if we just stuck out our hands."

I keep saying one more chapter and then I’ll go to bed but I really have to put a stop to it because it’s near 1am and I cannot be up this late.

This book is stressing me out, it’s got me fearing for everybody. I feel like I just ran a marathon and all I did was read like 80 pages.

I am actually really enjoying this and think that Lesh has great ideas.

Rochester is definitely… an odd one (so far)

Very fascinating details in this book but again something about the tone in the writing is bothering me.
