Couldn’t get through the first book in this series; didn’t bother to read this one,

I just finished Friends of the Dusk (MERRILY WATKINS SERIES Book 14) and gave it 5 stars.

Yay, we're back in Ledwardine! Old friends dropping in, Lol's back in Lucy's cottage, Jane's home and full of angst as usual, Annie and Frannie are still on, Anthena/Anthea's still a dark kitten. The issues are ancient and contemporary, beautifully handled. And I've no idea what's going to happen... Phil Rickman at his best!
