I read this book years ago, and I still think about it. I do not understand why the rating is average. I thought the book did an interesting take on Faust for the age group it was directed at. I wish they would write more.

on my kindle it says chapter 39 of 265 out of 487 so I am estimating how far along I am but it's not a book for me

Comparing this to "After" makes no sense. It veered from that way in the beginning. Unfortunately my problem is now with the spoilers on the ending because knowing the typical scenario girl finds out about secret and they break up this secret is so far from where they are at in the relationship now that it should only cause a fight about lying.

People keep comparing it to After by Anne Todd which I get but it's not like this is some original story and she was the first to write it. The problem is this is a very common story line so all that matters is who writes it best. I guess I'll see by the end but seriously the only problem I have is the title really doesnt fit the story.

okay I read this book a long time ago but on the reread the main character is annoying me. the whole she feels blackmailed is mentioned every other sentence would be understandable if the author would bring up why she felt entitled to steal money from the company to begin with! I know there will be a good reason somewhere but why would the guy feel bad for someone who already committed a crime? The self righteous

Nash might be one of the worst characters I have met when it comes to drama queen. Honestly I wonder if the author made him that way since he is the straight brother with a pregnant girlfriend and there is a gay couple as competition for the show. I don't picture gay guys as dramatic crybabies either though.

Maybe it's more a sign of the times but I've only read the first story so far and I did not like it at all. The writing itself is fine, I would read the author again, but everything reok the generic characters, stereotypes, and condescending main character just turned me off.

I dont know how far along I really am. I have it as an e-book so its saying 424 out of 686. Usually I love her books but this one isn't really hooking me in.

predictable

I think I have just become jaded from reading so many books. The twist isn't really a surprise just by paying attention and I wouldn't put this as a romance which kind of is ruining the book's idea for me

I dont know what to think yet because I feel the last 15 percent of the book ruined the whole read for me.

I hate saying it but this might be the worst book she has written. It ie so boring and too long

I am actually on page 152 out of 392 so I am estimating almost halfway done with the book yet I am struggling every step of the way with a lack of connection to the characters and a dislike to the progression of the story. It is just dragging along and I usually like past/present splits but this book is just making me feel like the main character is more and more or an idiot at every step.

I feel like I am reading a different book than the one that is averaging more than 4 stars for so many reviews. The premise, the mystery, the way the main character investigates after having no experience or ties to the actual victim was too off base for me

I'm not really invested in this book like I've been her other ones which I find disappointing.

I am getting really tired of hearing how "utterly gorgeous" Riley is and how she cannot believe she is with someone as great looking as him. Everything she has liked about him refers to his looks.

I feel like I should be enjoying this book more than I am by now since I like this author but for some reason the story is really dragging for me. Hopefully the resolution makes this worth it.

I have seen a lot of positive and negative reviews on this book and noticed a few negative ones came from people who hadn't read the first two books. To be honest if I hadn't read them I would probably not try to finish this book. I dont expect all sunshine and Rose's but some of these issues seem more serious to me than the characters and I'm getting annoyed by how they are brushed aside.
