this book is trying to be respectful so much that it’s doing a backflip and ends up being offensive. the MC is bi & demi and the book has already managed to mischaracterize both those groups, first saying straight couples looking for a third don’t interest her bc she’s demi (but it would’ve been fine if she was just bi) and then she’s demi except for this one girl she had sex with hours after meeting her

hold on……. all this time she was trying to go DOWN the stairs?? I thought she was trying to climb up, she couldn’t make it so she went back down and now you’re telling me all this time she was going down, stopping, and going BACK UP??? that makes no sense, how did she not have the strength to continue down but going back up was fine 😭
