Restarted :)

My only complaint about this book is that it’s actually half a book…

This book is terrible.

I’ve had this book all summer but put off starting it because it felt like a ‘worthy ought to read it’ buy. Oh god. It’s brilliant, the best book I’ve read all summer and possibly all year (admittedly I forget all about books I’ve read about a week after I read them so I might’ve read something as good).

I’m only writing this to stop myself gorging through the last third.

DNF.

Possibly a bit TOO dystopian for right now...

I’ve just finished this book so went to add it to my list, and apparently I’ve read it before. I thought it wasn’t great but apparently it is also utterly forgettable.

It’s not grabbing me.

So many words. I may return to this one another time.

I think I’m abandoning this book. It’s both very gruesome and stylistically annoying.

Not sure why, but I couldn’t get on with this. Shelved.

Started reading this, but was too knackered to concentrate on it. Coming back to it...

I forgot I was reading this. I wonder where it has got to....

This book has been a slog. It’s based on a true story, and ought to have been fascinating, but I found it hard to care about any of the characters, until nearly at the end when a new character is introduced. The modern day sub plot I found completely surplus to requirement.

Not for me.

This book has already made me laugh out loud twice.
