Saw this on Shane’s instagram feed this morning and it peaked my interest. This is my first book from this author. I’ve been listening over the course of the afternoon so probably around 50% and am really enjoying it. Loving the suspense and THE FOOD!!!! Will update soon.

Listened to the original years ago and loved this series. Currently listening to the new duet version and it’s like a new book. Absolutely loving the narrators. Tara Langella is amazing as ever and Melissa Moran (who I think did the original book) is so good as Tabby. Loving this. So unexpected and refreshing. Full review to follow.

I am really struggling with this audiobook. Emma Wilder is one of my go listens but not even her talent can elevate this one. Still got 15 hours to listen to…… or maybe not JEM. FAR TOO LONG.

Val is 30% done with An Unexpected Distraction (Richter, #3)

This feels really slow compared to the others in the series and as a uk reader the language is a bit Americanised and the female narrator sound like she is straight out of the 1964 Mary Poppins movie. Only about 3 hours into the audio so still loads of time to pick up pace.

Val is starting Violent Triumphs (White Monarch, #3)

Jessica is one of my go to authors. Loved all of her books but have really loved this series. The complex relationship of lovers, friends, siblings and parents only made better by the brilliant casting of the audiobook narrators. Emma Wilder was amazing and Brian Palino was OK too!! Only joking he was so sexy as Christiano!

The quality of the sound on the audiobook is really bad to the point it’s distracting from listening. Will try to push through as these 2 super stars are my all time fave duo. Review to follow.... eventually, maybe!
