Imagine the plague, murder, and political intrigue all rolled into one book, and you essentially have this for the first book. I can already see how this can be streched into a 20+ book series.

I just started this book this week, but I like it already. If you like stories of high sea adventures, this one is for real and I think it is really good.

This book is...weird based on how many POV characters we get. More to come later.

I haven't been reading this as much over Spring break because, I think, my routine has been thrown off somewhat. Still, I am really enjoying this book and it is definately going to be on my best books of the year list.

We are now in LBJ's work with Vietnam. This is an excellent way to explore what is happening with each Presidency, and how each person could have made a difference in Vietnam.

We are now getting into the start of the JFK era of Vietnam. I know I sound like a broken record, but I like how this is all from the Vietnamese perspective. It truly shows how little we did not consider when entering the conflict in Vietnam, and how generations of people would fight for their country, no matter who stood in their way.

I am at the point where the French are out of Vietnam, so it is different and sobering to see the conflict from a Vietnamiese perspective.

This is an interesting exploration of Vietnam around the time just after WWII. I am excited to read more.

This is a book that features great writing. Something along the lines of the Dresden Files in 3rd person. It also doesn't take itself too seriously, as it is all about monsters like Vampires and Werewolves living in a normal small farming town trying to live normal lives. I'm excited to see where this leads.

This is mostly a series of adventures featuring hospital doctors. Think ER or The Pitt in space. It is good if you are into that kind of thing.

I have obviously loved this book, as you can tell by my listing to it alot this week. It is amazing to consider how contraversal not only the design itself was, but the idea of a war memorial at all.

What has surprised me most was how contentious this fight for a memorial was at this time. This includes talking about those who avoided the draft for Vietnam. I'm liking it so far!

I have finished Richard Nixon. Review to come.

I realized that this book has taken me over a month to finish, despite being a fast read. Maybe this is because of how it seem to drag with characters that I do not care about.

Due to work, I haven't been making as much progress on this as I would like. The good news is that this book is a fun read, though a bit slow at times.

I'm so close to the. end, I can smell it. lol. Anyway, we have been in the depths of Watergate, and it is fascinating to see just how blatent the cover-up was. I am disappointed at how it was difficult to follow, since this seems to be the climax of the book.

This is a fun introduction to this series. I hope that they don’t become romantically involved, though. It would be nice keeping the mc’s as friends.

We are now in his battle with Kennedy for President. It is cool seeing his weaknesses come up even when he is VP.

We are now in Nixon being Vice President. It is interesting to see how he is working in such a useless position in government.

This is a fun book, considering it is about Nixon. Currently he was just elected to the House of Representatives at this point, and is focusing on battling the Communists in what will become the Red Scare.

Almost done with this book. It is really fun and, for perhaps the first time, I like it when an author narrates his or her own work. Of course, it is Stephen Fry, so that is to be expected.
