The Exiles - 4.5/5 stars. Makes me want to reread Fahrenheit 451.

The Last Night of the World - 4.5/5. This one feels like I should reread it again from the beginning and think on it. It’s so short, I don’t know what I think.

The Rocket Man - 4/5 stars.

“The Man” is five stars. It also reminds me eerily of déjà vu. But I really don’t think I’ve read this one before.

This arena is so cruel and gorgeous; it might be my favorite one. I’m very excited to see how they’ll adapt scenes like this one (Lou Lou smelling the berm of flowers) in the movie adaptation!

I hope they keep the scene of Haymitch chugging all the milk in the movie adaptation. It would be a shame to miss out on that.

I am adoring this reread so much. I could binge it all this weekend. Or I could savor it and make it last. No idea if I’ll go with option 1, option 2, or secret option 11.

I absolutely adore this. I needed a guidebook specifically to my weirdness.

Oh girl imposter syndrome? I’m just waiting for the day they kick me out of my office. Doesn’t matter if I’m great at my job. Some nugget of my brain still feels like I don’t belong.

I certainly like it more now than I did even just a few chapters ago. The story is constantly evolving and changing so much and I don’t really know what to make of it. But overall, it’s a positive.

I love everything about this. I can appreciate the pacing even better with my reread.

I love the subtext woven in about sex work and survival. Coriolanus is so jealous and possessive of the women in his life that even the briefest hint of the topic and he’s changing the conversation.

I don't know if I'm going to finish this one. Its' missing the spark and excitement that the other books in the series had.

Really interesting seeing how the media portrayed her.

I am alive and reading! It’s been a heck of a reading slump.

The pacing is a bit slower in this one vs the others in the series. I don’t mind it though, especially on reread and knowing what to expect.

Katniss loses another person (and the worst is yet to come.) If it’s not the tragic death of a loved one, it’s someone she admires and respects. There’s all kinds of tragedy afoot.
