yeah being weighed at school was pretty traumatic for me, like why was that something that was happening in front of my peers

She keeps describing stuff like being put on a diet as a kid or your doctor telling you to lose weight, but not how much or how to do it so you spiral into an eating disorder, and eating three granola bars or a ton of cupcakes because your parents have rules on food, like... I wanna cry because this was my childhood and it's validating to know it wasn't just me!
