The earth and ionosphere generate a symphony of frequencies ranging from 0.01 Hz to 300 Hz. Some of these are in the exact same frequency range as those occurring in our cardiovascular system, brain and autonomic nervous system. This helps explain how fluctuations in the earth’s and sun’s magnetic fields can affect us. Changes in the earth’s fields have been shown to affect our brain waves and heart rhythms…

Ugh. This book was torturous and cruel. I knew it couldn’t end well due to how we know Snow turned out in the future with the Hunger Games. I dreaded the inevitable heartbreaking ending as Snow finally made his choice with the dark side.

And you have to find how to navigate disappointment on the way to dreams because it’s when your life isn’t going the way you want it that you can most know the Way. The way will be long, and the Wayfarers will lose more than they imagined, and find more meaning than they imagined, and the real romantics know that the journey, the wrinkles in the story, in the dreams, in us, is deepening into something sacred.

Gosh, C.S. Lewis is hurting my head. Feeling disappointed over how dry and tedious this book is. 😣

Limbic system impairment may be caused from toxicant injury from chemical, electromagnetic fields/radiation, bacteria, viruses, fungi, exposure to mold, physical injury (head or neck trauma), and/or psychological or emotional stress. All of these can result in brain trauma... and they can initiate a multiple system breakdown in the body (nervous, immune, digestive, endocrine, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems)

“When Roshar saw her ripped, one-legged trousers and Arin at her side as they stood outside the prince’s tent, his eyes glinted with mirth and Kestrel felt quite sure that the prince was going to say it was about time Arin tore her clothes off.” >> 😂 Love these three and the teasing spark between them!

"That's what artists do. They pull back the covering on our inner life, allowing us to see things beneath the surface, things that, without their compassion, creativity, and generosity, we may have missed."

Erica is on page 205 of 387 of The King of Attolia (The Queen's Thief, #3)
The king lifted a hand to her cheek and kissed her. It was not a kiss between strangers, not even a kiss between a bride and groom. It was a kiss between a man and his wife, and when it was over, the king closed his eyes and rested his forehead against the hollow of the queen's shoulder, like a man seeking respite, like a man reaching home at the end of the day. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 *fan-girl flailing*
