Ugh. This book was torturous and cruel. I knew it couldn’t end well due to how we know Snow turned out in the future with the Hunger Games. I dreaded the inevitable heartbreaking ending as Snow finally made his choice with the dark side.

And you have to find how to navigate disappointment on the way to dreams because it’s when your life isn’t going the way you want it that you can most know the Way. The way will be long, and the Wayfarers will lose more than they imagined, and find more meaning than they imagined, and the real romantics know that the journey, the wrinkles in the story, in the dreams, in us, is deepening into something sacred.

Gosh, C.S. Lewis is hurting my head. Feeling disappointed over how dry and tedious this book is. 😣
