I had forgotten that Kingsbury’s books are heavily based on faith. I regularly attend church but don’t expect so much preachiness in the books I read for enjoyment.

I need to set this book aside and come back to it at another time. I find it a compelling story but for some reason too disturbing for me to complete at this time.
