No, just no. Forcing myself to finish on 2x’s speed. If it wasn’t on my Goodreads challenge list it would have been a swift DNF. This historical fantasy fell so short and gave me the ick. Horrible stereotypes that dragged on and on. The initial concept did not deliver. The love story was a lust story. The historical context is twisted to turn poor rising up in revolution to just drinking demonic water. Not a fan
