Because I’ve been thinking I should pick this one up every March for at least the last 5 years.

Meh. I’m thinking Instagram influencer books are not my genre.

End of volume 1. I always hear the 1995 adaptation voice of Mrs. Bennet in my head every time she speaks, and it’s quite amusing to me.

Wishing Kindle streaks would let me update with paper books. I get caught up in a book and skip the app for ONE day… argh.

With phrases like describing her location as “you can’t throw a Birkenstock without hitting an artisanal bakery”, and describing the difficulty level of a recipe (which she still recommends) as “you will want to bludgeon yourself with your rolling pin about halfway through this project”, this may be the funniest cookbook I’ve ever looked at.

Ah, sweet Jane is fully recovered, and Darcy has noticed Lizzie’s fine eyes. Next up, Mr. Collins enters the scene.

This book brings me so much joy.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that this book has one of the greatest opening lines of all time. Bring on Lizzie and Darcy!
