This is a great look at how the story of the Owen's family of witches started.

I'm loving it! I've been intrigued by the story of the Owen's woman since seeing the Practical Magic movie. I have magic of my own but have only ran into one other woman who tried to help me when it was opening within me. But I'm not going to get personal in goodreads. Books are not a teaching method unless handed down. That is hard to do in a computerized world such as this. Blessings All. Blessed Be All

Just like the Dune Companion book, I'm reading this as needed to fill in the blanks between stories.

Using it to track all the books associated with the Dune series and attempt to read them, including short stories in the time frame of years in their world. Hope that makes sense.

So far, hhmmmm, if you've read the original Dune series, you've heard about the machines taking over for thousands of years, but that's about it.
This is the 2nd book in the series that Brian Herbert wrote from his father's notes to explain what exactly happened. In it, you'll find the beginning of many different groups and fights, but I'm not going to be able to spoil any in around 100+ characters.

80 is an estimate because I don't want to open my kindle, lol.
If you have seen the movie you will know a lot of the book. But there's twists and turns that couldn’t be added without taking up lots of time and film.
I can't wait to finish the book, maybe the group I'm buddy reading with will want to read the next book in the series.

This book is interesting. The characters are realistic and the area where the main character lives seems believable.
