I’m at 369 of 610 pages. Classic or not, it’s entirely too long. Finally at this page, the deed that has been thought to death has finally occurred!

Good read. However, at 87%, Snow "brought out my Glock, tripped the safety off and eased my way in.” I don’t think Glocks have safetys.

I loved "The Shipping News" , but I’m quitting this one. Maybe I’ll give it another try later on, but probably not. There are too many good books in my 'to be read' stack, life is too short, etc. I’m disappointed.

It’s a good read, but eerily similar to "The Last Mrs. Parrish" which was published before this book!

I’m not impressed. The first 1/3 of the book leads one to imagine something far worse than the truth, or at least the truth known at 59%!

I just finished chapter two. If Ellie were my child, I would be in prison for killing it! There aren't enough pain killers in the world to make one put up with a child like that! Ugh, I may not be able to finish this one.
