I like this murder mystery/vampire setup.

Some life events is slowing down my progress, but hoping to catch up on my reading over the next few weeks.

Very conflicted about this book for a few reasons so far.

1. Although I like Matthew, I feel I don't have full depth into his character. A lot of surface level thoughts and feelings, but nothing much deeper.

2. Now knowing the series is unfinished and that the 3rd book is much darker than this one, I'm not sure if it's worth reading all 3 and putting myself through the emotional wringer without resolution.

Sigh...

OMG, big revelation! No spoilers, but it changes everything...

I wish there was a little more detail about the compulsions and battles of wills...could make for some interesting fights.

Heavy action filled chapter!

This is really moving along and the characters are interesting.

Some intriguing and disturbing dreams Rose has. Dreams or psychic/magical attacks? Hmm

Grief, mystery strangers and dancing in the moonlight.

Wow, poor Matthew.

A little more action.
