Jma is on page 200 of 373 of Dropped Names: Famous Men and Women As I Knew Them
The book is arranged by year so contacts with & info on celebrities and personalities are very broken up. This makes the book difficult to read for everything except Frank Langella’s career. That I can find on Wikipedia & books dedicated to his career.
Bottom line: You can scan the book for “inside” celebrity information just know it it’ll be disjointed. Take a Pass.

I enjoy the details, small and large of celebrity’s’ lives but it’s extremely disjointing to have each story be in order of each celebrities death. Too much jumping around in time and although I enjoy tidbits, I also bought this book to learn more about Frank Langela, a long time favorite. The time jumping made it near to impossible to understand his career and life progression.

Jma is reading The Crossroads Cafe
A rich, warm read. The characters were so well crafted I felt I knew them and wanted to visit Crossroads to eat at the cafe and try those amazing biscuits! The storyline was believable and had enough twists to keep it fresh and interesting. I’d recommend this book to anyone who wants a non-taxing but rich read.

Jma is finished with The Price We Pay (Life After War, #7)
I’ve always looked forward to the next edition in the LAW series & so I jumped right into this book. I found the lack of quality editing and proofreading difficult to get past and the story itself was a grind. This book was the necessary next step in the series but a lack of “good” or happy moments useful in releasing the tension Angela beautifully crafted were absent. Still looking forward to the next installment.
