Blah. Dropping this.

Honestly, I have very little hope for this book. I keep debating with myself whether to just dnf it. Perhaps if I had read this back when I first read the original books in the series (when I was in high school)… but right now it’s rough. I just wish she’d recognized that the original readers are grown, and would’ve made the appropriate adjustments.

Decided to drop the book. Not only do I have very limited time to read at the moment, and beyond the fact I’m not enjoying the book that much, it just feels so… dumb to me. Sorry if you enjoyed it, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend this series to anyone. The first book started out okay, but it just went downhill halfway through and now the second book only continues with the same idiotic characters and plots…

Although I'm really close to it, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This book is exhausting.

I'd probably finish this in one sitting if i didn't have to be up early tomorrow.
