reading this for the second time but last time i was 17 years old so it’s almost like reading it for the first time… found my old copy and couldn’t put it down…

reading for a history class obviously but why is this lit as hell… basically reading this guys diary addressed to god and having kind of a lot of fun doing it… of maybe everything else i’ve had to read recently is just really boring… whatever im having fun

assigned reading for a gilded age/progressive era US history class!! already read this a few years ago and i think i liked it? looking forward to reading it again and discussing it in a new context!!
