With ADHD, I am not inclined to read it. Maybe I will finish it later.

Really hard(emotionally) to read about the online attacks. I’m taking a break from it .

Too much rhetoric.

Restarted book after reading the 1st 3 books in the series.

Main character 40 years old and doesn’t know what the Luftwaffa is??

Too many different apparently distinct threads, with the narrative jumping from one to another. They are almost certain to link at some point, but meanwhile the reader must remember separate storylines. This is a common practice in recent fiction, unfortunately.

Liked Tony and Carol novels. Will not finish this one.

Just on chapter 2. Several typos already

Frustrated with repetitions of facts. E.g., at least 3 times, lost paperwork re a 911 call has been talked about, and I’ve read less than a third of the book.

Slow.

First Val McDermid that I read was Retribution, featuring Jacko Vance. Do I really want to read another one? I’m hooked on Val McDermid, so I’ll keep reading…

Average writing but proofread very good. Great plot.

Book 2 was very good.
