I’m liking this way better than KC’s last two books! But also: Dense female main characters are super annoying to me & Josephine (Jojo) is really one of those. (Girl why do you act so dumb)🤦🏻‍♀️

Tbh I started out liking this and it’s slowly becoming more and more tedious to listen to 🙃

I like to imagine that Alice Feeney keeps post it notes throughout her house of witty or deep one-liners she’s thought about, and as she writes a new book she thinks about which ones she can fit into every few pages

A goal of mine is to read more Newbery Medal Winners & this one is a winner in 2024 🥹🐶🐾
