It's chilling to continue reading this when we are facing a world crisis. Constantly reminded how badly the current sense of control over the pandemic can quickly go south.

I can only say that those who did not enjoy this book does not see the merits of fishing as a hobby. Very detailed account of the old man's 4 day battle with his prized loot. His thoughts, feelings etc are so superbly weaved together in this short story.
