Hine has really dialled in these menacing sadistic Dark Judges and the art given things and grim and grimy feel.

The mutation bit is a particularly good showcase for Boo Cook. A lot of Zhind in this comic at the moment.

Storm Warning: Green and Pleasant Land
Does very little for me but psychically talking to a tree is fun.

Lawless: Ashes to Ashes
This felt like a major deal, a reframing of events that worked and didn’t feel cheap, with a cliffhanger that could have huge implications.

Judge Dredd: Planted
More entertaining than the first episode, for the touches of the failing security and for Dredd’s cruel practicality.

Things are finally starting to feel more focussed, which good because I haven’t been enjoying 2 as much as I did 1.

Pretty basic monster story but the art is great (that’s a good smooshed head) and the start was funny

Lawless: Ashes to Ashes
A lot of revelations but just about carries it off due to some fine craftsmanship. I’m like the tone of this.
