Ferdinand Horvath’s pieces were fewer in quantity than Albert Hurter, but I very much enjoyed the designs for “Ballet des Fleurs”, the indoor and outdoor studies for Snow White, and the image for Merbabies which looks really weird and interesting. Will have to check out the two shorts I haven’t seen.

When I initially scanned through the book, I thought the first section on Albert Hurter was going to be the one I would enjoy least. Upon closer examination of his drawings I am in love. They vary from a traditional kind of beauty to a grotesque weird warped style that I realllllly like.
