who's ready for the LUCY DERRICK MISERY TRAIN? So many bad things happen to this girl that it's borderline ridiculous how much crap she goes through.

It reminded me enough of The Scarlet Pimpernel that I started rereading TSP despite the fact I'm in the middle of this book.

Not sure how I feel about the structure. Adore Anton but really wish we could get more from Olga. Do later books have more Sveta?

This book desperately wants to be a video game, which I'm not sure is a good thing. Also, too much story at the expense of print-setting.

This is really annoyingly rose-colored so far.

This book is by the same guy as the myths retold website. If you like classic mythology and don't mind a deliberately informal style, this book is for you. The author attempts to knock classic mythology off it's idolized (boring) pedestal to reveal all the sex, drugs, and craziness that go into classic mythology. If you dig the style, this book is for you.

Gonna stick this out even though I want to punch the protagonist in the nose.
