Did not expect this to be the book to break my reading slump but here we are.

There was no way my nosy ass was going to resist reading this book. I even paid for the Audible narration.

Re-reading to spend more time with Lenu and Lila❤️

I’ve only listened to an hour of this on audio and I’ve already stopped to bookmark 4 times. I think I’m going to learn a lot from this book.

This is extremely my shit.

Is this my third read through? Fourth? I will make this book give up its secrets.

The good news is it starts to get interesting around the 400 page mark.

4/29 How can a book be such a slog but also unabandonable and undeniably good?

4/25: I keep picking this up and putting it down. I did the same thing for the first couple hundred pages of The Count of Monte Cristo and it turned out to be one of my favorite books, so I will give it another hundred-ish pages to see if it sinks its hooks into me.
