Time to see what all the fuss is about....

Love stories, even real life love stories, are not usully my thing, but I picked this up impulsively from the library. I can tell you after finishing Part 1 today that love stories, even real life love stories, are still very much not my thing.

Attempting a re-read bc I want to see how the series stacks up.

Re-reading with the offspring.....

Pausing this one here.... so far, this book has been brilliantly imagined, fascinating, and more intriguing than I thought it would be. However, it feels heavy, and bleak in a lot of ways, so with the onset of Spring I'm not very much in a mood to read it. It's starting to feel like a slog, and I'm not into forcing myself to spend my few reading hours on something I'm not enjoying. Will pick it back up another day.

The title is misleading, it should've been something like "What Protestants believe about the Bible" haha. Still, it was good, a succinct summary of what I already know to be true. Due to that succinctness, however, it's not something one would get much out of if one wasn't already a Protestant Christian. Indeed, one would end up with more questions than answers! But for me, it was a good refresher.
