This book is so bleak and dark that I feel like I'm latching onto the only slightly romantic thing happening in the book. Pretty sure it's going to end poorly though.

I have been pleasently intrigued by this book so far, but now that we are getting into the later part of the book, I'm less enthused about the religious tones.

I'm really enjoying this so far. There have been parts that are so sweetly romantic and then I think about where this is all ending and it's very sad. Cat is actually a great narrator everything going on.

This book is bleak and unsettling. I'm not sure if I'm taking any major things away yet, other than anxiety about the world now.

This has been a pretty interesting delve into Katherine's early years and downfall. I'm enjoying getting this version of the story through Cat's eyes.

Just getting started with this book. Don't have any big opinions yet.

What I expected: Regretting reading a book with a love triangle.

What I didn't expect: A revenge porn subplot.

I'm deeply annoyed with this love triangle, but I'm in too deep.

I don't really like her "friend." She is making me a little nervous.

I don't forsee this storyline resolving before the end of the book. So it's probably going to be a cliffhanger.

The audio was returned to the library today and I think I have to put it on hold again, so I'm not sure when I'll pick this back up.

I'm not really sure how to feel about this book. I'm ot terribly tied to either main character, but every once in a while something happens and I'm super into it.

This world is interesting. Dark and gritty. I'm interested to see where it goes.

I'm enjoying the vibe of this book so far. It reads like a narrative biography, with the descriptions being very detailed and the dialogue being pretty limited.

This book is really starting to make me mad. We were going pretty strong for the majority of the book and then both main characters have started doing things that drive me CRAZY. I just want to get through the last little bit and move on. I'm not mad enough to stop reading. But I am mad.

There was a brief moment when Kiara was really getting on my nerves, but she turned it around... So we're still good.

This is just a good old fashioned body guard romance.
