This … is kinda awful … I feel like the two main characters acted like 12 year olds. Nothing about this book made felt romantic. I feel like hawke sexual assault poppy. He was manipulative, I just .. did not enjoy this book.

Feel like this book should of been YA, the way it’s wrote I think would satisfy a 14 year old (minus the spicy bits of course )

15 and 16 chapters were cringy,
And of course she’s fighting to leave and when Enzo lets her go, she’s like … welp guess I’ll stay. So dumb

Using you need me alive against Enzo for 100 pages and just decides to believe him when he almost has them fall of a cliff ? Really ?..

I think this is putting me through a slump ..

Having a hard time with this book…

I don’t particularly like romanticizing cheating.

I’m struggling with where this book is really going.
I feel like it could have been cut in half, the point needs to be more clear.

I can’t say there’s anything wrong with this book other than I felt like the romance was a little forced between the two characters.
I really liked the authors writing style. This just simply wasn’t my cup of tea. I’ll rate it 4 but it’s not something I’ll pick up again.

It’s starting to sound like every other book being wrote.

Getting tired of these prince/fae in disguise. Takes a commoner/girl with powers she’s not suppose to have, in while trying to right a fallen/revolution kingdom.

I do like how Tessa isnt every other hot headed female. Her response actually seem realistic

So far I like how Tessa isn’t every other girl in every book.
She has real emotion. She shows her tears, her fears and seems more shy. I like that

Honestly I thought this book had more fantasy and more adventure, instead it’s about a sleepy Russian village afraid of a girl because she chooses to be fearless and likes to be in nature, Instead of being a fearful and religious.
The battle between Christian and pagan was a bit overwhelming specially with the new priest show’s special attraction to her.

So far the beginning pulled me in, I was pretty excited for a Russian fairy tale. Then it turned into a, slight Cinderella, Christian vs pegan, independent women character, witch kinda of book.
So far I like the book … but it’s not one I would rave about.
I guess I’ll see how the book ends

This book was exactly like the second book, nothing new. And the author uses the same descriptions as in the first and second book.
It’s like reading the outline of the first and second book but I’m the a different scenario .....

I would recommend these books to kid starting out on chapter books because they are an easy read.
