Seriously how dumb are all the women in this book? I don’t know whether to keep reading or stop

I’m enjoying this so much!

Ugh this audiobook narrator is horrible. I’m going to have to switch to the print.

This started out strong and I was pretty into it. The book synopsis grabbed me. I’m in the minority here though because what started as a solid 4 read, ended as “what did I just read?” I wasn’t feeling the paranormal, nor would I call this horror. But what really got me was the anticlimactic ending. I appreciate the ARC, but this one was just too unbelievable for me.

I’m primarily listening to the audiobook because the narrator is just fantastic!!!

All these recipes. :-( are we trying to add page count?

Wish I would have discovered this series earlier. Throughly enjoying Miss Julia.

Holy crap I’m burning through this book! I’m shocked at how much I’m into it. When I’m at work, I’m counting down when I get get back to it. When I can’t be on my kindle, I’m listening to the audiobook.

Gosh I’m struggling with this one. Determined to finish as it’s one of my June book club pics.

I adore this series and don’t want to get caught up and finish with the last book, but highly recommend you avoid this in audiobook. The narrator is the most awful I’ve experienced and his character voices are over acted and ridiculous. He’s a joke. I’m embarrassed for him.

When you get an email being pre-approved for his latest ARC…freeing the rest of my day for this!! 🤣

I see I will be burning through this series this year. Agent Pendergast has captured all my attention. I love it when he says something and drops the mic and leaves the room 🤣

I only meant to read a couple paragraphs and shelve until later…but I can’t put this down!

Love all JR books, but this one is dragging. Usually I can’t tear myself away. Hoping for some traction soon.

This far about every character introduced, with the exception of the investigators, seem repulsive. Will be interesting how this plays out.

Been on my list too long and so many of my friends loved!

So painful...yet so far I find Malcolm and JB add nothing to the storyline except excess extra pages. Anyone else feel that way? Maybe more of their value is yet to come in the remaining 40%?

This book took me 3 attempts but I’ve finally passed the sloooowww beginning and it’s finally starting to reel me in.
