Listen, I hate to dog on an author - but is there an editor? I am definitely not a pretentious reader. I don't need my writing eloquent in any way but WHOA! 2 pages in and I hate the writing. My friends and I always try to read these advent calendar kind of books together but they are never really good. I was not planning on picking it up again but decided to try again. I just want to know what is happening.
