12 days left til my due date & we’re on the last book of my self-imposed becoming-a-mother reading list!

rereading a book you loved (& largely forgot) is always scary but I’m optimistic this time

so I’m about to have a bad time

Found this book at the thrift store for $2 today & I’m starting it immediately

i’m like 20 pages in and this is already so exactly what I’ve been looking for!!!

everyone has told me I’m going to love this book and for some reason that makes me feel like I’m going to hate it

Do you think I’m gonna manage to read this book in 1 day in time for book club y/n??

Yeah so far this is exactly my jam

listening to this again a few months later in an attempt to imprint it on my brain

On one hand I’m mad that this book has such a low average rating and on the other hand I’m glad because enjoying it this much (so far) makes me feel better than all of you

I technically started this book forever ago — like, over a year ago — but I picked up where I left off and it’s excellent. Read properly it MUST take forever to get through because even though it’s slight there’s an actual writing exercise every ~3 pages. Highly recommend to any creative!

I played Beth in Little Women the musical & set out to read this again — I didn’t make it to the end of the book this time but to be fair that’s pretty in character
