My only complaint about this book is that Lisa Damour did not write and publish it sooner.
Every parent should read this. Especially those of a daughter. If at all possible read it while you're child is between the ages of 8 and 10, so you can begin implementing the advice within it prior to your child entering the 7 transition phases outlined within the book.
Every page teaches me something new and helpful.
